Hi
Kirby, I don't know if you will remember us because it has been so
long but in August of 2004 you shipped our puppy to us in Upstate
NY. His name is Wyatt (I can't remember his registered name-
oops!) and he was a little black and white GSP. He's not little
anymore! He is a great all around dog. He has great drive for
hunting and retrieving. And he is a great family dog as well. He's
very devoted and a little spoiled because of me! I just
wanted to tell you how happy Jerry and I have been with him. We
wouldn't hesitate to get our next dog from you. I've included some
pictures for you. Thanks Again, Jerry and Jessica Verrigni Ithaca, NY |

Kirby,
Just wanted to thank you and update you
on how great the female pup I purchased
in February 06. Riley (her name) was the
solid black headed pup in the litter out
from Magnum King of Aces and Fancy Molly
born on December 24th 2005. My wife and
I picked her up on a Sunday morning that
Feb. and we spent the 1st 7 months
letting her be a puppy in the yard and
developing her personality where she
wants to be around us all the time. I
worked her on a "tone" collar and our
first hunt was beyond expectations. Her
noise is unbelievable as well as how
long she holds points. She retrieved to
hand right from the beginning and has
brought back birds from some pretty
tough conditions.
As I finish up our second season of wild
pheasant hunting here in Iowa, her
ability to track and follow downed birds
in heavy cover is great and just a joy
to watch. I wish I could say it's my
ability to train, but her instincts and
her ability to smell pheasants with such
range actually impresses all the guys I
have hunted with. She follows my arm
commands and works great in front of two
to four hunters. Just this last week our
temperatures were around 10 degrees with
sleet coming down. Riley went on point ,
a rooster breaks out, we drop it and she
retrieves it. Goes right back to same
spot, points and a second rooster
flushes with the second retrieve from
Riley. That's what wild bird hunting is
all about - the dog work.
Ironically, I enjoy hunting her so much,
my son and I are expanding our season by
going to Missouri for quail and now a
friend has talked into going to Smith
Center Kansas January 7-10th. Never have
hunted out there, but now realize is
only a few miles from Kensington. We
will be hunting the public areas so any
recommendations you might would be
appreciated. The guy we are coming with
has been there the last two years.
Kirby, once again thanks for a great dog
- her blood lines are awesome.
Have attached a couple photos when Riley
was a little over 1 year old.
